It's difficult to pick stills for this, it only really works as a movie

Basically the room starts as normal and as the kids play a pirate game the colour moves to blue and water starts to pour through the windows and burst up through the floor boards.

Lighting was basically 10K's through the windows and the kids were lit with whatever happened to bounce around the room.

The water through the floor effects took a long time, Brian and I had expected to get the effect by mounting cameras to a section of the set and dropping the whole lot into a water tank, only for a few inches!

Our effects man thought that it would be better to use hoses, after 2 days of the hose through the floor approach looking like hoses through the floor we dropped the set into a tank and got it in one take
