Simpless

This was be a series of commercials for a new fat replacement product used in spreads, yoghurts etc.

They never appeared.

I had a wonderful time shooting 5 commercials over a 2 week period.

Our brief was to emulate different styles of filming, they varied from European Art Movies to Rap Videos to Fashion Shows to Eastern European serious films to home videos to..........

We shot on 35mm, 16mm & Super 8.

The stocks were, Agfapan 250 B&W, Agfa 320, Fuji 500, Kodak 5296, Kodachrome, Ilford MarkV.

Lighting varied from clear glass 12K's on the Alien sequence to a lot of candle in the dinner sequence. We gutted a 5Kw Northlight and filled it with candles to use as a soft key source, the sequence is entirely candle lit.
